Due to the success of our Unplugged program in the past, we have decided to offer it again.  The Unplugged program involves the playing of popular songs, as a band, consisting of vocals, keyboards, synthesizers, percussion, guitar and bass, stripped down in an acoustic setting.  We feel the student would benefit from this course as follows:

1) develop rhythm and ear training;

2) teaching students to improvise properly (playing rhythmic and
melodic passages to enhance (fill) the song);

3) experience playing along with other types of instruments as
well as vocals;

4) enjoyment from playing popular music in a band setting;

5) experience performing in front of an audience.

The course will commence Saturday October 19, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m..  Our
Unplugged group will perform at our annual Christmas Concert at Bethany Community Church on Friday November 29th, along with at a number of elementary schools during our Day of Giving.

The student will receive eight one hour Unplugged lessons, for a fee of $150.00 (no taxes).

Make sure to register early as, due to limited space and time, we are setting up the program on a first come, first serve basis.
